I'm a loyalist to Saloni, because they are as obsessed with my eyebrows as I am. I appreciate all their attention to detail, from the relaxing environment of this intimate Union Square space to meticulous facials with amazing and Ayurvedic products imported from India. Over the years I've received services from several of Saloni's estheticians and everyone has been excellent, since I understand they have all been trained with Smita's signature technique.

I love getting my eyebrows threaded at Saloni!  It is so different from other threading salons that I have been to in Manhattan and Queens – and I have been to many!  The girls really listen to what I'm asking for and they take their time to make sure that I get exactly what I'm hoping for.  I never feel rushed like I have at other threading salons in the city.  The location is great and they even serve free refreshments!  I would recommend Saloni to anyone who is looking for a relaxing and calming environment to get quality threading or other spa services!

Years ago, smita was my excellent brow threder, but we lost when she relocated. I found another place, after lots of research: my brows are middle-eastern - thick, not finely arched, and I need a person who knows the score. The place I found after I lost Smita was Smita was fine: all the "mokels" go there: it looks great, expensive, very good skills, but the vibe? please. so, I began looking again, and Smita's name turend up, in her own place! Her prices are way less than what I've been paying, but a bit more if you are used to $6.00. However, Smita's skills are precise; she looks at your face, finds the line of your brow, and then talks about what you need. she listens, too. And she is every bit as good as all the elite salons I've frequented over the years.Her place is nice, too - cozy and personal. But the important thing is her skill: she's got it.
